The inside front cover describes "The Whiffenpoofs of 1942" though on the inside back cover they describe "The Whiffenpoofs of 1947" which makes me think they reused the text of the front from a previous recording.

The Contemporary American Organ by Wm. Barnes SOLD

Selling the book and pamphlet together. Along with the book is this pamphlet for the Wicks Pipe Organ Co. written also by Willaim Barnes who apparently wrote in the Contemporary American Organ about inadequacies in Wicks' Direct Electric Action. However by the time the book was published, the action had been improved and redesigned and Wicks' created this booklet for Barnes' retraction at the same time acting as a sales brochure for Wicks.

The pamphlet / brochure is 32 pages in mint condition. It has been sitting safely inside the back cover of the book all these years.
